About:
Angela is a BACP accredited counsellor, BABCP accredited CBT therapist, and qualified mindfulness teacher, with 20 years’ experience of working in mental health. She offers a calm, compassionate environment where clients can safely explore challenges and build practical coping tools at a pace that feels comfortable to them. Her work is grounded in a person-centred approach and informed by evidence-based CBT and mindfulness. Angela works with adults.

- Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (Person Centred Approach) (University of Strathclyde, 2009)
- Mindfulness Facilitator Training (NHS Education for Scotland, 2021)
- MSc in Psychology (University of Wolverhampton, 2023)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) (Queen Margaret University, 2024)
- Postgraduate Diploma in CBT (Queen Margaret University, 2025)
Experience:
Angela began her career in mental health in 2006 as a volunteer befriender and Samaritan. Since then, she has provided support and therapy across a wide range of voluntary and paid roles. Her experience spans third-sector organisations, private practice, and the NHS. Angela has held the roles of Counsellor, Team Leader, and Development Officer within the field of counselling and is currently employed as a Psychological Therapist and Mindfulness Group Facilitator for NHS Scotland.
