Claire Spence

Professional Background: Claire has been a dedicated Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) practitioner since February 2014, achieving accredited practitioner status in June of the same year. Her commitment to delivering high standards of care led her to join One Allan Park in 2015 as a KCR therapist, where she quickly established a strong reputation for her professional, client-centred approach.

Over the years, Claire has continued to broaden her therapeutic expertise, completing further training in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Hot Stones Therapy. This comprehensive skill set allows her to tailor treatments to the individual needs of each client, whether they require postural correction, muscular tension relief, rehabilitation support, or deep relaxation. Her approach combines technical knowledge with a thorough understanding of biomechanics, ensuring treatments are both effective and restorative.

On 1st September 2023, Claire proudly took over ownership of the practice, becoming Owner and Practice Manager. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day operations while maintaining her hands-on commitment to client care. Claire remains passionate about delivering high-quality therapies in a welcoming and professional environment, ensuring the practice continues to provide exceptional standards of treatment and service.

Education: Claire studied Physical Education at the University of Edinburgh, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, movement science, and performance. Her academic background gave her a deep understanding of how the body functions and adapts, which continues to underpin her therapeutic work today.

Following her studies, Claire founded and successfully ran a popular children’s sports coaching business in Stirling. This experience strengthened her skills in communication, leadership, and movement development, while reinforcing her passion for helping people improve their physical wellbeing at every stage of life.

Claire completed all of her Kinetic Chain Release training under the direct guidance of the method’s founder, Hugh Gilbert. Learning from the originator of KCR provided her with an in-depth understanding of the technique and its clinical applications. She remains committed to ongoing professional development, continually refining her skills to ensure clients receive safe, effective, and evidence-informed treatment.
