Medical Cannabis with Curaleaf Clinic

In 2018 medical cannabis was rescheduled under UK law allowing doctors to prescribe cannabis-based medicines under certain circumstances. Cannabis-based medicines can be considered for a vast range of conditions including back pain, arthritis and anxiety, where patients have tried standard treatments with little symptom relief or an unsustainable level of side effects.

Curaleaf Clinic (previously Sapphire Medical Clinics) was the first clinic to be granted approval by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are one of the largest clinics in the UK. Patients can self-refer themselves to the clinic and check their eligibility for an online consultation here. More information is also available at One Allan Park Wellbeing Clinic (note 2 below), in the Central Belt of Scotland in the city of Stirling.

Eligible patients that join the Curaleaf Access Scheme and contribute to The UK Medical Cannabis Registry, will receive their first follow-up appointment for free*.

By completing regular questionnaires, you can monitor how your health and symptoms change over time, whilst growing real-world evidence on medical cannabis.

Visit curaleafclinic.com today to find out more about qualifying conditions, to review clinic pricing, and to find out if you may be suitable for medical cannabis.

Footnotes:

*Patients have 35 days to book a free follow-up appointment with a Pharmacist/GP from the date they are approved for treatment with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). Patients who wish to have a follow-up with a consultant will need to pay £125 whether on the access scheme or not.
